HackYourFuture Belgium, non-profit coding school

For two years, I taught web development at HackYourFuture Belgium, a non-profit coding school that helps refugees and newcomers build new careers in tech. As part of the teaching team, I led front-end development classes every weekend, mentored students, and contributed to women-only programs to support diversity and inclusion in tech.
In 2018, I was part of a feature by HackYourFuture BE highlighting the impact of our women-focused program.

In 2022, I was invited by RTBF (Belgian national public broadcaster) to speak on the radio show Tendances Première. During the interview, I shared how HackYourFuture creates opportunities for people with refugee backgrounds through accessible tech education, and how teaching can be a powerful tool for empowerment and social integration.

This experience remains one of the most meaningful parts of my journeyâcombining teaching, tech, and impact.
